1. M. Tech in Power Systems

Programme Description: This program is designed with an aim to provide specialized master-level education in the area of Electric Power Systems. This program gives an opportunity for students seeking to build their careers in industries and research.

Programme Educational Objectives/Goals:
  1. Augment the engineering knowledge by learning through advanced concepts and theories by exposing to specialized courses to solve advanced engineering problems.
  2. Enhance the knowledge and design skills to carry out industry-based research, lab-based design and analysis
  3. Develop managerial and leadership skills necessary for managing engineering projects
Programme Learning Outcomes:
  1. An ability to apply advanced engineering knowledge to solve advanced and complex engineering problems.
  2. An ability to design components and processes and conduct experiments and analyze data by use of advanced software and computer tools.
  3. An ability to communicate orally and in written fashion and become proficient in technical and scientific communication leading to compilation of thesis and writing of project reports.
  4. An ability to assume technical/managerial role in their profession by honing behavioral, leadership and managerial skills.
