Amity College of Nursing conducted an event of Breast Cancer Awareness for the housekeeping staff of Amity University Haryana. Ms. Rebecca Dillu (Assistant Professor, ACON) welcomed the principal, faculty, students and the audience followed by the Keynote address by principal Dr. Sunita Srivastava. The concept of Breast cancer was taken by Ms Rebecca Dillu and and Ms. Kamini Chauhan (Tutor, ACON) welcomed took the session of Psychosocial issues related to breast cancer among females. Students of B Sc Nursing 7^th Sem demonstrated the steps of breast self-examination for the audience. 25 housekeeping staff attended the event. The audience were distributed the informational pamphlet regarding the breast cancer and its preventive measures. An Awareness walk was also conducted by the students and audience in the Amity University

Campus.Breast cancer Awareness encouraged the audience for self-breast examination on the regular basis. They came to know the importance of self-breast examination will help in detecting the cancer in the early  stage and hence prevent the further complications. The students and audience gained the confidence of doing self-breast examination.
