National Seminar on The Role of Youth in Nation Building

Amity School of Liberal Arts organized a National Seminar on ‘The Role of Youth in Nation Building,’. The Seminar was a collaborative effort between Amity School of Liberal Arts and Group of Intellectuals and Academicians (GIA).

Chief Guest, Dr. Namita Gandhi, University of Delhi  while addressing the audience spoke eloquently about the involvement of the youth in environmental issues. Her thought-provoking address set the stage for a vibrant debate. 

Guest of Honour, Shri Sanjeev Uniyal, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India spoke about the need to prioritize ancient wisdom and the need for engaging the youth in meaningful dialogues and activities. 

Chief Discussant, Dr. Sonali Chitalkar, University of Delhi stressed on the need for understanding the basic theoretical differences between the Indian and Western civilizations and the need to look beyond the dichotomous narrative on modernity and westernization.

The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Parul Yadav who thanked the dignitaries, the organizing team and the student volunteers for making the seminar a success.
