Amity Institute of Pharmacy organized a guest lecture on “Evidence based Medicine” for their 1st & 2nd semester students. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Tarun Wadhwa, Assistant Professor,  RAK College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, RAKMHSU, UAE  was attended by students and faculty of AIP. The main aim of the lecture was to impart knowledge of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice among students.

Dr Wadhwa gave valuable information about various scientific databases such as Medline, Pubmed, Cochrane and how to search relevant research from these sites. 

He also emphasized on having updated knowledge of literature before solving any clinical case studies or prescribing any medicine. His talk was very insightful and students learnt various aspect of Evidence based Medicine.
