Students from the B.Tech. (IT) 2024–2028 batch visited the Google office in Gurgaon, where they attended multiple sessions showcasing Google’s ongoing initiatives.

Students from the B.Tech. (IT) 2024–2028 batch attended a Distinguished Public Lecture hosted by the Indian National Science Academy on “AI viewed as Algorithms and Computation for Optimisation and Simulation”, delivered by Prof. Sami Erol Gelenbe.

Team HeroX from IT wins the Special Prize (Bright Idea) at Riverathon 1.0 for their AI-based "Sediflood Alert" system.

Mr. Gaurav Mittal, of B. Tech. (IT), 2009-13 batch receiving the blessings of our Honorable Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan & Dynamic Chancellor Dr. Atul Chauhan after winning a cash prize of Rs.25,000 from EMC storage Pvt.ltd for his exceptional technological excellence and bagging the EMC Technopreneurial Excellence Award.

Mr. Yash Anand of B.Tech (IT), Batch 2013-2017 participated in Jenesys 2.0 Programme at Japan. He was appointed as the Tenei-Mura Support Ambassador. The event was a cultural exchange programme organized by Japan International Corporation Center and fully sponsored by Japanese government to bring together Japanese learning students to learn and experience more about the Japanese culture.

Ms. Meghna Jha of B.Tech (IT), Batch 2013-2017 participated in Jenesys 2.0 Programme at Japan. The scholarship programme was sponsored by Japanese government to bring together Japanese learning students to learn and experience more about the Japanese culture.

Educational Tour to Shibaura Institute of Technology, Tokyo
I, Aryan Garg a student of Amity University, Noida Campus pursuing B.Tech in Information Technology (2016-20) got the privilege to represent Amity University at Shibaura Institute of Technology in Tokyo with Ms. Loveleen Gaur and a group of 10 students. I stayed there for 10 days and got a glimpse of Japanese Technology and culture. It was a life time experience for me seeing the advanced technology and the disciplined nature of Japanese people. I learnt a lot about the research areas in which they are focusing and currently working on. I was appreciated for my presentation, describing my experiences in Tokyo. I received a Certificate of Appreciation. I would like to thank Amity University for giving me this opportunity.

Mr. Aakarsh Shrivastava, student of B.Tech-IT, batch 2016-2020 has participated in many MUNs (debating competitions) at Jesus and Mary College, Jaypee Institute of Information technology, Kirori Mal college, Delhi university and ARSD college, Delhi University.

Ms. Gulpreet Kaur, student of B.Tech- IT Batch 2016-2020 presented her research work at the International conference on computational intelligence and data science-2019 at the NorthCap University, Gurugram.

Ms. Gulpreet Kaur Chadha, student of B.Tech-IT, Batch 2016-2020 received a scholarship for pursuing the IUCEE (Indo Universal collaboration for Engineering education) SCALE student leadership program, conducted by Dr. Krishna Vedula, Director-IUCEE and Professor, University of Massachusetts.

Mr. Agambir Bhatia, student of B.Tech-IT, Batch 2016-2020 participated in the annual Literary fest of BITS Pilani Hyderabad, titled 'Verba Maximus'. It consisted of multiple events such as Group Discussion, Conventional Debate, Devil's advocate (Extempore speech event). He was one of the finalists.

Rajya Sabha TV organised a panel discussion on behalf of their fortnightly show, 'The Pulse' and students from ASET were invited to attend and participate in the discussion. The program was hosted by Neelu Vyas, and was telecast on the channel on Sunday, 22nd December 2017. There were a total of Seven students and a faculty coordinator who attended the show. The full show was also featured on Rajya Sabha TV's official YouTube channel.

Mr. Shubham Pujari, student of B.Tech-IT, Batch 2016-2020 has been performing stand-up comedy at renowned laugh clubs and events, and has received a lot of appreciation by the audience for the same.

Mr. Swayam Kohli

Batch: 2023-27

Mr. Swayam Kohli of B.Tech. (Information Technology), Batch 2023–27, has secured the Special Prize (Bright Idea) with a cash award of ₹25,000 at the Riverathon 1.0 National Hackathon (2026) as part of Team HeroX, where he developed “Sediflood Alert,” an AI-based flood prediction system. He was also selected among the Top 700 candidates nationwide for the Ericsson Edge Academia Programme and has secured First Prize in Code Canvas for three consecutive editions.

Mr. Shashwat Sharma of B. Tech. (Information Technology) 2021-25 batch has bagged the prestigious AI fellowship of rupees one lakh by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) under IndiaAI mission for his project titled- ‘Agents is all you need’. The fellowship program offers support to 10 students from B.Tech and M.Tech programs at the top 50 NIRF-ranked engineering colleges in India to undertake AI projects and provides an amount of rupees one lakh to selected B Tech. students.
