We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Andrew Leale as Founding Principal of Harrow International School Bengaluru.
The school, which opens in August 2023, is set on a purpose-built, residential campus in Devanahalli, Bengaluru.Mr Leale is currently the International Principal and Head of the Chaoyang Kaiwen Academy, Beijing. He brings three decades of rich experience in world class, highly regarded, and innovative schools in UK and internationally. He has spent a significant part of his career at the prestigious Tonbridge School, UK in academics as well as in the Senior Leadership team. He was nominated by the management at Tonbridge to serve as the Governor at Cranmore Prep School, Surrey.
Born and raised in Surrey, UK, Mr Leale was educated at Charterhouse School, then Oxford University where he earned his Bachelors in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Sciences. He secured his Masters degree in Educational Leadership at University of Buckingham, UK.
Mr Leale is delighted to be joining the Harrow Family of Schools and the Amity Group as the Founding Principal of Harrow Bengaluru, and excited to bring the exceptional quality and 450 years legacy of Harrow to India.
