APPOINTMENT OF FOUNDING PRINCIPAL OF HARROW INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL NEW YORK

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jason Morrow as Founding Principal of Harrow International School New York. The school, which opens in August 2023, is set on a beautiful 170-acre estate on the southern shore of Long Island.

Mr Morrow is currently Headmaster of The British International School of New York. He has over 20 years’ experience of school leadership in world-class schools, having worked as a Head Master and Deputy Head Master in some of the most highly regarded, academically successful and innovative schools in the UK and internationally. He was Head of Norwich High School for five years and prior to that worked as a Deputy Head at North London Collegiate School and Sevenoaks School. He has also been closely involved in a range of international school projects, including long-term partnerships in Europe and Africa and a new international school for children aged 4-18 in South Korea, which was recently named one of the top 100 international schools in the world.

Mr Morrow was born and brought up in Belfast. He was educated at Oxford University, securing a First Class Honours degree in History and Modern Languages, before completing a Master’s degree at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.

He is delighted to be joining the Harrow Family of Schools and the Amity Group as the Founding Principal of Harrow New York, and excited to bring the exceptional quality and breadth of a Harrow education to the New York region.
