The industry–Academic Field Visit organized under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Amity Academic Staff College, Amity School of Architecture and Planning, and Signature Global aimed to provide architecture students with practical exposure to real-world construction practices, residential housing development, and contemporary architectural execution.
Conducted at Signature Global DXP Estate, the visit sought to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional industry practices by familiarizing students with live construction sites, safety protocols, labour and construction management systems, Building Information Modeling (BIM), smart technologies, and sustainable architectural practices. The event also aimed to enhance students’ understanding of affordable, mid-budget, and luxury housing developments while preparing them for the practical and technological demands of the modern architecture and construction industry.
The visit successfully exposed participants to live construction processes, housing development strategies, modern construction technologies, and professional safety practices followed at large-scale residential project sites. The informative sessions conducted by Rahul and Dinesh Kumar Singh provided valuable insights into construction management, site safety protocols, emergency systems, and sustainable building practices adopted in contemporary real estate development.
