Department of Mathematics, Amity School of Applied Sciences organised a Pedagogical workshop on LaTeX, on 15-26 July 2024. This training not only enhanced their technical writing skills but also prepared them to contribute more effectively to their academic and research endeavours, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet the demands of their future careers.

The aim of the two-week pedagogical workshop on LaTeX, organized by the Department of Mathematics at Haryana, was to equip BSc, MSc, and PhD scholars with the necessary skills to proficiently use LaTeX for technical writing. The training sessions were designed to help students master the creation of mathematical equations, tables, figures, and citations, as well as to incorporate various referencing styles and even create presentations using LaTeX.

In conclusion, the workshop successfully met its objectives by providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of LaTeX and its applications in academic writing. The hands-on experience and expert guidance enabled the scholars to confidently utilize LaTeX for producing professionally formatted documents and research materials.
