Ms. Sneha Das is currently an Assistant Professor of English at Amity University. She pursued extensive research in the areas of Gender Studies and Environmental Sustainability during her PhD at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna. Alongside her research, she served as a Teaching Assistant for three years at NIT Patna where she was involved in teaching communication and soft skills. Her teaching and research interests include Gender Studies, Ecocriticism, Indian Literature, Creative Writing and Communicative Skills.
Ms. Sneha Das, as a dedicated research scholar at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna has worked on the nuanced exploration of the theory of Ecofeminism in Indian subcontinent, meticulously tracing the roots of gender struggles and investigating the sustainable environmental goals led by Indian women poets throughout the annals of Indian literary history. She earned her M.A. in English Literature as the university topper from The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad. She has published several research articles in prominent national and international edited volumes and journals. She has presented research works at over 20 national and international conferences held at institutes like Ilinois State University USA, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Patna, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Agartala, etc., and also earned Best Presenter Awards at some distinguished international conferences. She has recently published research papers in journals including, 'The Journal of Sydney Society of Literature & Aesthetics' (Web of Science), 'IUP Journal of English Studies' (Scopus) and 'Literary Voice' (Web of Science). As a skilled public speaker, she was honoured with the Best Speaker accolade twice by The Department of Parliamentary Affairs in State Level Youth Parliament contest. As a versatile creative writer, she has published two books on short stories and poetry and completed her diploma in Creative Writing in English from IGNOU. Currently, as an assistant professor at Amity Institute of English Studies and Research (AIESR), Amity University Noida, she is actively involved in teaching and guiding students in both English Literature and Communication, further contributing to the academic community.
