He is currently an assistant professor of Linguistics and English Literature at Amity University Uttar Pradesh where he teaches Introductory courses in Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Anthropological, Forensic Linguistics, History of English language, and English language teaching, at the undergraduate and post-graduate level. He has also offered Semantic: Theory and Analysis to the undergraduate students in Jawaharlal Nehru University and Introduction to Linguistics to UG in Ram Lal Anand College (Delhi University). He worked as a project fellow in NCERT before joining his current profession. He has co-authored and co-edited 2 books and chapters in 8 books in the field of English language teaching and Professional communication. He also has published papers in the field of linguistics and Literature in national refereed journals. He has two-chapter translations in the People’s Linguistic Survey of India, Published by Orient Blackswan. He has presented papers, has been a chair and panellist, in national and international conferences and seminars. He has also undertaken translation works from English to Malayalam and English to Hindi.
Dr. Gibu Sabu M did his undergraduate at CMS College, Kottayam in English Literature. After receiving his graduate degree in 2004 he joined JNU, New Delhi for a postgraduate in Linguistics. He received his MA In 2006 and MPhil in 2008 and Ph.D. in 2021. He completed his third post-graduation, MA in English literature from IGNOU in 2021.
