Dr. Tanu Kashyap’s research focuses on British Fiction, Comparative Literature, Women's Writing in Cross-Cultural Perspective and South Asian Literature & Diaspora Studies. An accomplished scholar and educator, she holds her B A (Hons) English (1988), M. A. English (1990), MPhil (1991), and PhD (1994) from Meerut University, she is working on her next book which will be on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Dr.Tanu Kashyap is an accomplished academician who has actively participated in conferences and workshops. She is endowed with a strongly inclination towards research and currently she is supervising four Ph.D. scholars. She has been invited as the resource person for numerous national and international workshops and conference. She has played an important part in the placement workshops held by different institutions and has represented AIESR as Resource person of Professional Development Programme for Master Trainers sponsored by The Center for Development and Empowerment of Teachers and Educational Personnel–PPPPTK Bisnis Dan Pariwisata (Indonesian Delegation to Amity University 2018)
Dr Tanu Kashyap is an Associate Professor at Amity University, Noida. She has more than 19 years of teaching and research experience. She is an author, researcher and motivational speaker. She has published 28 papers in the international journals. Dr. Tanu Kashyap was conferred PhD degree on the topic Love and Freedom in the novels of Iris Murdoch from Department of English, Meerut University. She has to her credit are six books which are available online. She has also been honoured with Asia Excellence Award 2019 for her contributions for holding Workshops on Success and Communication Skills to the Underprivileged. The chief guest in this function was Shri Anurag Thakur, the then Minister of state for Finance and Corporate Affair, Government of India. Shri Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, youngest Member of Parliament from Leh, Ladakh felicitated Dr Tanu Kashyap in an august gathering of notable entrepreneurs, social workers and academicians. She represented AIESR, Amity University Noida as Session Chair and presented her paper in recently held three-day International Conference 05-07 May 2023 " India and Southeast Asia : One Indic Belt": organised by Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi , Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts ,New Delhi in collaboration with ICWA,ICCR,APPTHI,ICSSR,ICPR, Indonesian Embassy New Delhi and Indic Belt Society.
