Currently, I teach Biogeography, Philosophy of Ecological Science, Wildlife Statistics, Urban Ecology, Behavioral Ecology, Forest Statistics, Experimental Design, Research Methodology, Statistics for Social Science, Development and Sustainability, Science Communication to Masters Students and Social and Environmental Issues to Bachelor's students.
Most of my research are oriented towards developing indicators to measure the impact of human disturbances on natural ecosystems. Publications and technical reports of my research have been used for wildlife policy-making and forest management interventions.
I am also working closely with several tribal communities of India understanding their cultural and spiritual connection with nature. Currently working with Amity Institute of Forestry and Wildlife as an Assistant Professor and lead students in applying sustainable strategies for forest and wildlife management.
