Currently, I teach Vegetation Science, Vertebrates, Plant Animal Interaction, Habitat Ecology, Critical Ecosystems & Management, Urban Ecology, Insitu & Exsitu Conservation to Masters Students and Forest Ecology and Wildlife & Rangeland management to Bachelor's students.
My thesis work emphasized more on the lesser studied taxa of the globe, the gliding squirrels of the Eastern Himalayas. Currently, I am in a phase to expand my knowledge on this taxa from different regions of the eastern Himalayas and to look at the ecology and site specific challenges that the species face. Also, I am more interested in building cross-country collaborations in this field and have recently initiated the same.
