1. Received the prestigious Anundoram Borooah Award, on 18.09.2005, presented by the Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi in recognition of her excellent academic performance.
2. Awarded the youngest textbook author of an English book ‘Introduction to Media Laws and Ethics’, at the age of 23 years by World Records India and World Amazing Records.
3. Felicitated by the Public Relations Society of India (Guwahati Chapter), at their Annual General Meeting, held at Hotel Royale de Casa on 08.02.2015 for the book ‘Introduction to Media laws and ethics’ that is benefitting the students of Journalism and Mass Communication in the state of Assam.
4. Received the National Award for the Best Chapter Newsletter (Guwahati Chapter) out of 25 state Chapters of India by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) in the 37th All India Public Relations Conference held from 25th - 27th November, 2015 in Ahmedabad, Gujrat. I received the Award in the capacity of being the Editor of the PRSI Guwahati Chapter Newsletter - 'Seven Sisters'.

21. Conferred the 6th Edition Dr. Sarojini Naidu International Award for Working Women 2022 on 11th October 2022. She received it in her capacity as an Educationist and her award had the citation that it was conferred “for the sincere contribution to the growth of the country”. The award was presented by President of the International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, Dr Sandeep Marwah in the presence of Chief Guests Padma Shri Ms Prathibha Prahlad, Padma Shri Ms Kumari Devayani and Dr Phani Jayanthi Sen.
