Dr. Basniwal has done MTech. from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (University of Technology of Madhya Pradesh) and Ph.D. from Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (UK). He has more than 15 years of research and teaching experience. He has 35 international publications and filed 9 patents (including 2 granted). He has worked on many government-sponsored projects. He organized and actively participated in many International and National conferences. Recently, three technologies developed at Amity Institute of Advanced Research and Studies (M&D) laboratories and transferred to various industries for commercialization. His working areas include nanotechnology, bioenergy (biofuel), and microbiology. Currently, he is working on harvesting of electrical energy from waste water and cleaning the waste water.
