PhD from IIT Roorkee in Architecture and Planning. He is qualified Architect registered with Council of Architecture, licensed to practice Architecture in India, and a Fellow of Indian Institute of Architects (FIIA). With two decades of Demonstrated history of working in Architecture, Design and Education, he had been a policy and sustainability enthusiast. He has be guiding doctoral research in areas of CPTED, Green Buildings, Construction-Demolition Wastes, Heritage, City Development Plans, City and Cultures, Sustainable Urban Vegetation.
His Interest in cross-disciplinary areas in Pedagogy, Design Processes, Research Methods, Responsive Environment, Energy Rating Systems, Criticism, Architectural Journalism, Services Marketing, Liveable cities and community development, Heritage and Culture along rivers, CPTED, UNSDG's, Accreditation Processes, Education 4.0 keep him engaged with new ideas and concepts to contribute in professional activities.
He is Chair of Departmental Research Committees, Board of Studies, Area Academic Board, Institutional Quality Assessment Committee, Technical Selection Committee for Faculty and Staff of ASAP, Formerly Member of committees of at University responsible for Quality aspects of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for HE, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). He had been part of various Inspection Committees of Regulatory bodies like AICTE and CoA, Board of Studies of several Universities in India. And he held several executive positions in Professional Bodies of Architects.
