NSS- Road Safety Awareness Program
NSS Units of Amity University Rajasthan organized Road Safety Awareness Program on 11th January, 2020. The main aim of this program to educate youngsters regarding traffic rules considering the fact youngsters are more prone to rash driving. Dr. Manoj Kumar, Coordinator, NSS Units of AUR welcomed the chief speaker of this program, Mr. Mahendra Singh, Deputy Director Security, AUR. In his address, Mr. Singh urged the audience to abide by traffic rules and not to indulge in rash driving and avoid overtaking in turnings etc. Further, he cited some accidents incidents in the vicinity of AUR campus. He emphasized on the use of helmet and seat belt. Further, all volunteers took pledge for following road safety rules. NSS volunteers expressed their views on “Bringing change through youth power.” Dr. Manoj Kumar concluded the ceremony by urging the participants to inculcate the road safety measures in word and spirit. Mr. S.S. Bhal, DSW, AUR expressed the dire need of the conduction of such events in the university. The program was attended Dr. Prashant, Dr. Yogita Madan, Mr. Rituraj Taye, Mr. Raunak Parekh, Dr. Kaushal Kishore Sharma and Mr. Ravi Kumar.
