 Amity University Jharkhand organizes ‘Festive Vibes’

Amity University Jharkhand organised ‘Festive Vibes’, an Inter-institutional competition on 21st October, 2019.The program started with the inauguration of the event by cutting the ribbon and singing the National Anthem. Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Raman Kumar Jha, Amity University Jharkhand welcomed the Guest Isha Gupta, Public Relation Officer, Shine Group of Institution, Aina , Irba, Ormanjhi, Ranchi. He addressed the gathering with his powerful words that we should not hide our inner unfulfilled desire and grab all the opportunities to fulfil them. However, this should not make us neglect our academics. Director Prof.(Dr)Ajit Kumar Pandey, Amity University wished the participants good luck and told them to always have positivity within themselves. A total number 140 participants participated in the event.

The program consisted of various events like paper lantern-making, rangoli-making, pot-painting, toran-making, face-painting and poster-making. Students of Amity University as well as other colleges and schools of Ranchi participated in the event.  In pot-making Kajal(IGNOU) bagged the first prize and the second prize was won by Susmita (BJMC 1st semester).In face-painting Vanshika and Aditi(St. Xavier’s College) bagged the first prize followed by Shreya Bose and Shobha Soren (Lakme Academy).  In paper lantern-making the first prize was bagged by Aditya Agarwal and Ayush Agarwal (B.Com 3rd semester) and the second prize was won by Richa and Atul ( Nirmala Yogada Satsang). In rangoli-making, the first prize was bagged by Ishika, Ankita Shivani and Prajol (St.  Xavier’s College) and the second prize was won by Shristy, Manisha and Aditi (Amity University). In toran-making , the first prize was bagged by Priya Sinha (MBA 1st semester) and the second prize was won by Niparna Mondal and Khatiya Ahasan (Shine Academy).The program ended with the Vote of Thanks .
