Amity School of Communication, Amity University Patna, celebrated World Photography Day 2026 with a special Photography Competition & Exhibition, organized by the Photography Club AmiClix, on the theme “Life Legacy of Bapu.”
Held at the iconic Bapu Tower, Patna, the event saw students creatively capture the life, values, legacy, architecture, and surroundings of this landmark through their lenses.
The event was graced by Shri Kedar Prasad Gupta, Hon’ble Minister, Department of Tourism, Government of Bihar, who appreciated the students’ creative efforts and highlighted the role of photography and digital storytelling in showcasing Bihar’s rich heritage, culture, and tourism potential.
Mr. Vinay Kumar, IAS, Director, Bapu Tower, applauded the students for choosing Bapu Tower as their subject and highlighted the relevance of the initiative, noting Gandhi Ji’s own association with journalism.
The event concluded with the elicitation of the winning entries, with First, Second and Third Prizes, along with a Special Mention, recognizing exceptional creativity and perspective.
