Amity University Strengthens Global Academic Outreach through Strategic Engagement with
Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP)
Amity University Uttar Pradesh (AUUP), Noida, hosted the visit of Dr. Michele Lee Petrucci, Associate Vice President, International Education and Global Engagement, Indiana University of Pennsylvania(IUP), USA, accompanied by Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kulshreshtha, Director, Academic Collaboration, Centre for Promotion of Ecological, Adventure, Health and Cultural Tourism, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala. The visit was aimed at exploring potential avenues of partnership in areas including student and faculty exchange programmes, joint research initiatives, student mobility, integrated initiatives, and interdisciplinary approach, thereby creating transformative learning experiences for the students.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Michele Lee Petrucci, stated, “Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) is a research-driven, student-centric institution dedicated to academic excellence and global engagement. With more than 140 undergraduate programmes, 56 master’s degree programmes, and 14 doctoral programmes, we are committed to preparing students for success in an interconnected world. We look forward to exploring meaningful, long-lasting association with Amity University that will foster institutional and intercultural exchange, alongwith impactful research.”
Highlighting Amity’s international initiatives, Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh, Group Vice Chancellor, Amity Universities, said, “The visit marks another significant milestone in Amity University’s ongoing efforts to expand its international educational footprint and strengthen its position as a globally connected institution committed to nurturing competent world leaders. We would like to explore opportunities for engagement in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Business Management through an interdisciplinary approach. Such engagements not only strengthen institutional ties but also create opportunities for shared learning, cross-cultural understanding, and transformative research that addresses real-world challenges.”

During the visit, the Delegation interacted with Domain Heads and HOIs of Amity and discussed various areas of mutual interest for potential cooperation.
