Workshop on Raising Capital and Managing Finance for Start-ups
Amity School of Economics, Kolkata, in collaboration with the University’s Innovation Council (Ministry of Education Initiative), Start-up and Entrepreneurship Cell, and the Bombay Stock Exchange Institute, conducted a hands-on workshop on Raising Capital and Managing Finance for Start-ups.
The Event was inaugurated by Dr Ankur Ganguly, Dean Academics and Dr Kshitish Kumar Khuntia, Head, Amity School of Economics, Kolkata. Led by the finance expert Mr Rudra Prasad Dutta, the workshop helped the participants evaluate funding options, understand GAAP and valuation methods, analyse case studies on IPOs and M&As, and apply tools to assess start-up viability and investor readiness.
The workshop, coordinated by Prof. Sakhi Roy, Start-up Coordinator, IIC, Amity University Kolkata, reaffirmed the University’s commitment to cultivating innovation and entrepreneurship through experiential learning.
