Psynthesis 2025

Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences celebrated the academic fest Psynthesis 2025 and observed the World Autism Awareness Day 2025.

Hosted by the School of Psychology to create awareness about different mental health issues, and to promote research and creative intellect of students, the fest included competitive events for research paper presentation titled ‘Budding Psychologist Award’ and creative poster making competition titled Psy-evolution. The festival also featured discussion, quiz, and photography competitions, all of which focused on various psychological issues. There was another competition on documentary making (PSY-FI), and classical dance and group performances based on psychological themes.  

The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 130 students from the School of Psychology and other institutes of Amity University Kolkata.

On the World Autism Awareness Day 2025, Dr Amrita Panda, Founder and Managing Director of Deep Ranjini Foundation, Kolkata delivered a guest lecture on the nuances of autism and the challenges involved in rehabilitation of people having autism. There was an interactive workshop by the team members of India Autism Centre, Kolkata. All winners and participants were given certificates.
