Global Leadership and Research Conference (GLRC-2025) concludes at Amity

 The three-day Global Leadership and Research Conference (GLRC-2025) organized by Amity Business School, Amity University Noida campus from 19th -21st March 2025, concluded with a Valedictory Session.

 

Addressing the students during the Valedictory Session, Guest of Honour Dr. Suvrokamal Dutta, Political Economic and Foreign Policy Expert, averred, “The students are the brand ambassadors of Viksit Bhart and are very fortunate to be studying at a prestigious institution like Amity. India has a rich and glorious culture since ancient times. Knowledge, Women Power, Youth Power, the Scientific Community and Farmer and Labour Power are the major driving forces which will make India a developed nation. Individual progress leads to societal progress which further leads to national progress. Today, the whole world is looking at India and India has given collective leadership to the world.” He called upon the students to use Social Media to promote the dee-rooted essence of India and Indian culture.

 

Mr. Raju M. Thakkar, The Walkman of India & Brand Ambassador, Natural Farming, Gujarat Natural Farming Science University, stated, “We should make wholehearted efforts and accomplish our goals enthusiastically. The things which we do not like ourselves, we should not do for others. Each soul is potentially divine, and we must use our divinity to protect the environment and ensure a sustainable future.”

 

Sharing his inspirational personal journey, Mr. Shrenik Shah, 5x TEDx Speaker, stated, “I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer which resulted in the loss of my voice. However, I did not give up and faced this challenge resiliently. I re-engineered my life 2.0 & blended that rejection with courage and confidence into resilience. By using a handheld electrolarynx artificial and speaking across global platforms since 2011, motivating thousands of people across the globe. Success breeds success and there must be no complaint box in life. You are the master of your life and the captain of your soul.”

 

Dr. Meena Mahajan, Founder, Siddhi Philanthropic Foundation, stated, “Spirituality means ritual for the spirit. “Dharma” is not religion, “dharma” means, limitation or discipline and “Swadharma” means what I will do to follow discipline. Our ancient scriptures are full of knowledge and learning, and we must follow the teachings of our Vedas and other scriptures for our spiritual growth.”

 

Deliberating upon AI & Leadership, Mr. Sumit Harjani, Managing Director, Harvard Business Publishing (Amity Alumnus), said, “Today, AI has become the most popular and important technology and human beings are feeling threatened by AI. AI is not going to replace human beings but humans with AI are going to replace humans without AI. The seven essential leadership superpowers are integrity, determination, self-awareness, optimism, empathy or kindness, curiosity or open-mindedness, and courage and we must imbibe these skills in order to become successful leaders.”

 

Dr. Sanjeev Bansal, Additional Pro Vice Chancellor Amity University Uttar Pradesh said, “Human values are essential, if a person is a great leader but lacks human values, they cannot be called great leaders. A successful person should be able to impact the society and make a difference to the lives of others. Today, we have highly inspirational personalities amongst us who will inspire our students to achieve their goals and make their country proud, contributing to the goal of Viksit Bharat@2047.”

 

 

During the Valedictory Session, Ms. Seema Devi, Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Delhi Police and Ms. Suman Hooda, Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Delhi Police, shared about how they reunited 136 children with their families. In addition, Amity excellence Awards were presented to Mr. Harmandeep Singh Walia, Managing Director, Nissan Renault Financial Services India Ltd., Mr. Saurabh Baishakhia, Senior Director, Samsung SWA, Ms. Roli Agarwal, India Head, Strategic Partnerships, Google and Ms. Shirin Sehgal, Chief People Officer, PWC India. In addition, Awards were presented to Best Research Paper from each Technical Session.
