Amity University organizes “XCONNECT-Internship Fair 2025” to provide internship opportunities to the students
Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), Amity University Noida, has organized “XCONNECT - INTERNSHIP FAIR 2025” from 17th to 21st March, 2025, with the aim to provide internship opportunities to Engineering students.
Addressing the students, Mr. Viney Kaushik, CHRO, Nuberg Engineering Ltd. averred, “This era is the era of technology, and the young students are far ahead of the previous generation in terms of using technology. However, technology must be used for societal benefit and to address the existing problems of the world. Internships provide hands on experience to the students, which helps them in developing their skills, making them more confident and shaping their personality, and enhancing communication skills.” He advised the students to always be curious and ask questions.
Mr. Jeeven Saini, Vice President, Open Health Systems Laboratory(OHSL), stated,"Internship transforms you from a student of an academic institution to a an industry professional. So far, you were acquiring knowledge in classrooms, however, now you will get the opportunity to work with big companies, where you will get exposure to corporate life and enhance your professional career, by applying the knowledge at your workplace and learning something new every day.”
Dr. Paramita Guha, Principal Scientist, National Physics Laboratory, opined, “At present, there are a lot of opportunities available for students for research in Digital Metrology, Cyber Security, Data Science and AI and students must apply for internships in these areas since these are the emerging areas for engineering students which have a lot of scope and potential.”
Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor Amity University Uttar Pradesh said, “Internship plays a very important role in the development of any student. This indicates your first steps towards industry. In just a few years, there has been a lot of change in the demand for employability skills, so experts are providing you with information about the development of the latest skills. Industries today need market-ready skilled human resources that will provide you with results from day one. Internship will develop those skills in you.”
Dr. Manoj Pandey, Director ASET said, “XCONNECT - INTERNSHIP FAIR 2025 gives employers the opportunity to interact directly with about 1,000 pre-final year UG & PG students from all streams of Engineering. Students will be available for a summer internship from the 2nd week of May to the 2nd week of July 2024 for a duration of 6-8 weeks as part of their summer internship programme which is integrated into their engineering curriculum.”
