Amity University and Durr Group Poland deliberate upon the Potential Areas of Collaboration
A distinguished delegation from Dürr Group, Poland, a world leader in automation, environmental technology, and sustainable manufacturing solutions, visited Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Noida campus, with the aim to foster global industry-academia collaboration and explore strategic partnerships in research, student internships, and industry-driven training programs. The delegation comprised of Mr. Andre Schlotter, Managing Director and CFO, Dürr Group Poland, Mr. Konrad Westphal, MD & VP, Dürr Group Germany and Mr. Ronny Leger, Director- IT, Dürr Group, Germany.
Highlighting the significance of the visit, Mr. André Schlotter, Managing Director and CFO of Dürr Group, averred, “With a strong foothold in European markets and a growing presence in India and China, Dürr Group remains at the forefront of technological innovation. The company has a vast global presence, with leadership in automation, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing technologies. Dr. Anjani Kumar Bhatnagar, Deputy Director- Amity Technical Placement Centre, welcomed the guests on this occasion. During their visit, the delegation engaged in high-level discussions with Amity’s Heads of Institutions and Heads of Departments, focussing on Amity’s diverse academic offerings, interdisciplinary research excellence, and robust placement opportunities. The delegation also visited state-of-the-art research facilities, including the Amity Centre of Artificial Intelligence (ACAI), Amity Drone Centre (ADC), and the laboratories.
