Amity School of Communication organised an industrial lecture on "Revolutionizing Storytelling with Multimedia Journalism" on February 21, 2025. The session featured Mr. Gulam Jeelani, Political Desk Editor, LiveMint, Hindustan Times Digital Streams Ltd, New Delhi, as the resource person.
During his lecture, Mr. Jeelani discussed the transformative changes journalism has undergone in the digital era, highlighting the growing significance of AI tools and the emergence of mobile journalism. He provided practical demonstrations of various multimedia tools and emphasized the essential skills students need to thrive in modern journalism.
The session was highly interactive, with students engaging actively and posing insightful questions. Mr. Jeelani also showcased his own stories to provide real-world examples.
