Session with the Earth Day Network India
Amity School of Fine Arts, Kolkata, hosted a guest lecture session in collaboration with the Earth Day Network India. This was aimed at raising awareness about the critical environmental issues that threaten the ecological balance and disturb the Earth’s sustainability. The speaker Ms Neela Majumdar, who is the Director of Education and Outreach at the Earth Day Network India, highlighted the powerful role young artists can play in influencing the society by addressing the ecological concerns through creative expressions on different media. The session was an eye-opener and well-receiving by the participants which included faculty members and students.
