Brief Report of the Activity:
(i) Introduction:
1)   Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior organized an Innovative Ideas Converting into Startup on 18th November 2024. This event is organised by the Institution’s Innovation Councilof Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior. This is the 1st quarter activities of IIC 7.0, Ministry of Education’s Innovation Council established by Government of India.
 
2)   The program was held at C-Block Foyer area in the Amity University Madhya Pradesh. This program was planned and coordinated by Dr. Naveen Sharma, Professor and Co-coordinated by Mr. Arvind Singh Jadon.
3)    Dr. Neeraj Mishra, HOI (Offg.), Professor, Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Madhya Pradesh Gwalior, delivered introductory remarks and this program was organized under his guidance and observation. 
 
(ii) Aims/Objective(s): The objectives of the event were -
Ø  The objective of converting innovative ideas into a startup is to transform creative and novel concepts into viable, scalable businesses that deliver value to customers, create economic opportunities, and drive progress.
Ø  The primary goal is to solve a specific problem or fulfill an unmet need in the market. The startup aims to provide a solution that is more effective, efficient, or accessible than existing alternatives.
Ø  To build a sustainable business model that generates revenue and profit. The startup must ensure that it can operate efficiently, attract customers, and scale over time while maintaining profitability.
Ø  To contribute to economic development by creating jobs, attracting investment, and stimulating local and global economies. Startups play a crucial role in innovation-driven economic growth.
Ø  To establish a strong brand that is recognized for its innovation, reliability, and customer focus. Building a reputable brand helps attract loyal customers, partners, and investors.

(v) Highlights of the Event/Activity:
In this event, Mr Vivek Soni, Director, Practon Pharma private Limited, 502, City Trust Co. Opp. Housing Ltd.,1st Cross Lane, N.M. Joshi Marg, Byculla(West), Mumbai, MH 400011. He said that converting an innovative idea into a startup involves a series of strategic steps that transform a creative concept into a viable, operational business. He also talked about his journey in the field of business, who he started his own company and what sort of challenges he faced and overcame all critical conditions made the business profitable. Mr Vivek Soni and Dr Neeraj Mishra both were judges of this event, they evaluated participants who presented their innovative start up ideas. He also said that skilled individuals who share innovative ideas and try to convert into in startup which is the important for whole country.
The theme for this program was “Intra/Inter Institutional Start-up Competition” On this occasion students gave power point presentation on the topic of new start up for better development of business.
In the competition, first position was secured by Mr. Harsh Raj from Ith semester and second position was secured byMr. Akshya Mondal from Ith semester and third position was secured by the Mr. Anupam Pathak.
At the end of the events, after the declaration of the results, the Vote of thanks was given by Dr Naveen SharmaA good appreciation was also conveyed for the volunteers' efforts and contributions to complete this activity. 
(vi) Outcome(s): The program aimed to achieve the following outcomes:
The outcome of converting innovative ideas into a startup can be significant and wide-ranging for the students, impacting various aspects of the business, the market, and society. The innovative ideas of the students can be transformed into a tangible product or service that is launched into the market, offering something unique or addressing a specific problem. The startup creates new job opportunities as it grows, contributing to local and global employment. Successful startups generate revenue, attract investment, and contribute to the overall economy through increased productivity and innovation.
