Session on Angel Investment / VC Funding Opportunity for Early-stage Entrepreneurs

 On November 12, 2024, Amity Business School organized a session on Angel Investment and Venture Capital (VC) Funding, specifically designed for early-stage entrepreneurs. The

seminar provided insights into funding opportunities for startups and early-stage ventures, aiming to equip budding entrepreneurs with knowledge about the nuances of securing financial backing.
The session, led by Prof. (Dr.) Deepika Singh Tomar, covered essential topics in angel investment, venture capital funding, and strategies for approaching investors. Key points included understanding the differences between angel investment and VC funding, knowing when and how to seek funding, and preparing effective pitches. Through interactive discussions, participants were introduced to practical tips on identifying potential investors, understanding investment terms, and aligning their startup goals with investor expectations.
 
Objectives Of the session -:
· To educate students about angel investment and venture capital as funding options for startups.
· To provide guidance on effective pitch preparation and investor expectations.
· To foster an entrepreneurial mindset by understanding funding opportunities and challenges in early-stage entrepreneurship.
· To encourage participants to develop financial strategies for sustainable business growth.

Outcome-:
The session on Angel Investment and VC Funding proved instrumental in demystifying the funding process for young entrepreneurs. Students gained a foundational understanding of investor expectations and funding strategies, which will aid them in their entrepreneurial journeys.
