Objective of the Event
The event aimed at a lively celebration of creativity, community, and culture where students not only get to showcase their talent but also experience the vibrant energy of Diwali festivities. From engaging activities to interactive stalls everyone came together and celebrated the spirit of Diwali.
The event celebrated both leadership and creativity by blending a formal investiture ceremony with literary and fun-filled activities.
Investiture Ceremony
The Chief Guest of the event was Prof. (Dr.) Iti Roychowdhury, Director, AISS, ASCENT, & ASL and Dean Student Welfare (DSW). she felicitated Student Council members with official badges. It was followed with the oath ceremony administered by the Joint Secretary of the outgoing session 2023-24, Samridhi Verma.

Diwali Chowk
Aagaz e Parikalp- Diwali Chowk included following stalls and activities:
· Souvenir- Diwali Greetings (make n take cards, bookmarks or write letters for yourself or your loved ones)
· Ring Game- Ring it, win it (aim for the target, complete the task, answer a riddle and you win)
· Open Mic Competition: Jazbaat- Open Heart (only feelings, through poems, stories, songs and much more)
The jury members for our Open Mic Competition are Dr. Zeba Siddiqui, HOD, Department of Languages, ASL, Dr. Anehi Mudra, Asst. Professor, AISS, Dr. Nitin Malhotra, Asst. Professor, ASL and Dr. Shramita Pandey, faculty coordinator, Parikalp.
Winners of Jazbaat Open Mic Competition
The Jazbaat open mic competition witnessed a series of impressive performances in poetry, stories, shayris, standupand songs. The winners of the competition were:

These winners were facilitated by the Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Iti Roychowdhury and the jury members for their outstanding performances, marking a successful conclusion to the event.
