Amity University organizes an interactive Seminar for the Principals of Schools across Delhi NCR
Amity University organized an interactive Seminar for the Principals of 22 reputed schools across Delhi NCR, including Ahlcon Public School Mayur Vihar New Delhi, Army Public School New Delhi, Airforce Bal Bharati Lodhi Road New Delhi, Blue Bells Model School Gurugram, Global Indian International School, Noida, Holy Public School Greater Noida, Delhi Public School RK Puram New Delhi, and Mothers International New Delhi, amongst others. The aim of the Seminar was to create awareness about Amity’s Global Programs which provide global exposure to its students and also to focus on the strong collaboration of Amity with renowned foreign universities, thereby increasing the enrolment numbers.
Presenting an overview of “Global opportunities through International Exposure at Amity”, Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh, Group Vice Chancellor, Amity Universities, stated, “Schools play an important role in shaping the future and the overall personality of the students, in their formative years. Amity offers Class 12th students the opportunity to visit prestigious international Universities, thereby making them future-ready to work in a global competitive work environment. Under the Amity Global Study Program, students can get a Foreign University Degree at a lower cost with a high return on investment. Students who have participated in Amity’s Global Study Program, Study Abroad Program, and 3 Continent Program have gained immense self-confidence, enhanced their skills and are at par with their international peers in their respective organizations.”
Providing detailed information about the various programs offered by Amity University, Maj. Gen. Bhaskar Chakraborty, Director Admissions, Amity University, said, "Amity is an ocean of opportunities and is providing opportunities for development by making the role of students important in today's evolving India. He also gave detailed information about the courses of Amity University.
During the seminar a Q&A session was also organized, wherein Ms. Shalini Agarwal, Principal, Summerfields Public School Green Park, New Delhi, lauded the global initiatives of Amity and asked questions related to career counseling sessions for students, at Amity, while Ms. Pragya Paliwal, Principal, Manav Bharti India International School New Delhi, asked questions pertaining to the placement of students.
After the seminar, the Principals of various schools took a round of the Amity campus and visited the Central Library Amity School of Communication Studio and Amity Innovation Incubator.
