Paridhan 2024 - The Annual Fashion Show
Amity School of Fashion Design & Technology (ASFDT), AUMP organized its annual Fashion Show ‘Paridhan’ on 10th May 2024. The main objective of the show was to provide a platform for the budding designers so they could showcase their collection and technical skills as a part of their course curriculum.
The distinguished Chief guest of the event was Ms. Divya Chauhan, Chairperson, ASFA, ASFT & ASPA, AUUP and guests of honour at the event were Mr. Asif Shah is a Fashion Designer, Indore and Ms. Richa Shivhare is a Fashion Icon and Lifestyle Influence. The event was witnessed with the begin presence of our Hon’ble Pro Chancellor Lt Gen V.K Sharma, Offg Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Anil Vashisht and Pro Vice Chancellor Research Prof Dr MP Kaushik, and HoI, ASFDT Mrs. Anshu Singh Choudhary.
The show started with the blessings of Maa Saraswati and a welcome dance. The host familiarized the participants and judges with the rules and assessment structure of the show. The final Graduation Design Collection of students of B.des Fashion Design, after analyzing the current trends for a year they came up with the themes like Wabi sabi- whispers of white Serpent, Orikata, Hanbok Harmony- Recreation of Korean tradition, The Spirits of Malabar, Celestial Nymph - Beauty isn't a size, Enchanting Fusion – Ashtmangal meets Drag Royalty and Carnival Chroma.
Mr. Ajay Randive Incharge Manager Mrignaini, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh Emporium and Ms. Mradalini Sailor, Miss. Asia continent 2022, World Peace Ambassador and Miss Vivacious winter queen 2022 were invited to be a part of fair & interactive judgement for the designers & their teams. Ms Varuna Rajput was awarded as the Best Designer 2024, Ms Sonam Barnwal was awarded for the Best Innovative Collection 2024 and Ms. Namrata Dhingra was awarded for the Best Theme 2024 of the evening.
