National Technology Day 2023 Celebration at Amity
Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida, celebrated National Technology Day 2023 Friday, on May 12, 2023. The esteemed guests included: Prof. (Dr.) Ashwani Pareek - Executive Director, National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Mohali, Punjab; Dr. Ajit Kumar Shasany - Director, CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, and Dr. R. S. Matche, Chief Scientist and Head, Food Packaging Deptt., Former Head, Tech Transfer and Business Development, CFTRI, Mysuru, Karnataka. The speakers talked about various aspects of "School to Startups- Igniting Young Minds to Innovate" using agriculture and other domains. Prof. (Dr.) Ashwani Pareek delivered a lecture on “Casting Agriculture in India@2047: Prospects for Startups”, which was followed by a panel discussion. Prof. (Dr.) W. Selvamurthy addressed the gathering on the importance of Startups in the nation. Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Director, AIB convened the event. Dr. Nidhee Chaudhary was the Program Director.
