Blood Donation Camp-2023
Amity Institute of Pharmacy (AIP) under the aegis of AUUP, Lucknow Campus in collaboration with Sahara Hospital, Lucknow organised Blood Donation Camp-2023 at CR 110, AB II, AUUP, Lucknow Campus on 01.3.2023 from 10.00 am to 03.00 pm. In this regard the inaugural ceremony of this novel event was organised at the multipurpose hall, clock tower, AUUP, Lucknow campus at 9.15 am on 1.3.2023.
To grace this event, we had honourable Deputy PRO VC & Director Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus, Wg Cdr (Dr.) Anil Kumar, Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh K Tiwari, Dean Academics, and Prof. (Dr.) Anuradha Mishra, Director-Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Lucknow Campus with us. Sri Anil Vikram Singh- Sr. Advisor, Sahara India Pariwar, Head, Sahara Hospital, Dr. Anju Shukla - Head Lab Medicine, Dr. Arvind Singh - HOD, Blood Bank, Mr. Abhay Suman- Head Marketing Dept., Mr. David Joseph- Sr. Tech. Supervisor, Blood Bank, Mr. Ajay Singh- Tech Supervisor, Blood Bank and Mr. Ashish Sharma - Head Business Development were the team members of our Co-organising team from the Sahara Hospital.
The event was inaugurated by lightening the sacred lamp by all respected dignitaries from AUUP, Lucknow and Sahara hospital, Lucknow. The respected dignitaries from Sahara Hospital Lucknow were felicitated in this event with mementoes and planters from Amity University as a sense of gratitude. Finally, the event ended with the vote of thanks offered by the Faculty Coordinator Dr. Lucy Mohapatra followed by the National Anthem. Followed by this inaugural ceremony the Blood Donation Process got initiated at CR 110, AB II, AUUP, Lucknow Campus at 10.00 am with the successful donation of 1 Unit blood by Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh K Tiwari, Dean Academics, AUUP, Lucknow. Followed by his enthusiastic donation almost 31-unit whole blood donations were made by student voluntary donors from different departments of the university. The event was successfully carried out accomplishing all proposed objectives.
