Ranchi, 26/01/2023: Amity University Jharkhand celebrated Republic Day with great patriotic zeal and fervor with the blessings of their Revered Honourable Founder President, Revered President & Chancellor, Mr. U. Ramachandran, Senior Vice President and Mr. Gauravh Gupta, Vice President, Amity University Jharkhand.
Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand unfurled the tricolor flag along with the heads and in-charges of the University, to the accompaniment of the National Anthem. He further highlighted the vision and mission of Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity University Jharkhand who motivates the entire Amity family to fulfill the promise that we will not let the hard sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters go in vain by making our country proud while being the best University in the nation. Let’s feel grateful to be a part of such a beautiful country with a rich heritage and culture. Pro-Vice Chancellor extended the blessings of Revered Honourable Chancellor Sir to all members of Amity family.
He further added that we educationists need to recognize what the republic is in education.
The Sr. Vice President of Amity Education group, Mr. U. Ramachandra in his message sent to Amity University Jharkhand, emphasized on the nation building vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and urged all the members of Amity family to follow his lead in taking the institution forward.
Mr. Gauravh Gupta, Vice President, Amity Education group, in his message sent to Amity University Jharkhand highlighted about the glory of India as a self-governing country, and paid tribute to the sacrifices of the soldiers who are protecting the country at the border. He then mentioned about the importance of mother, father and a teacher who can bring about drastic change in the empowerment of society.
The dignitaries who graced the occasion with their presence and conveyed their best wishes were Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Dean academics, Amity University Jharkhand, Dr. S. Arvind Pandey, Director, Amity Law School, Amity University Jharkhand and Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity university Jharkhand.
The program was then followed by patriotic songs, cultural performances and a vote of thanks by Dr. Shovona Choudhury, Assistant Director Student Welfare marked its end.
