Amity University Jharkhand Organized an Online Panel Discussion on "Helping Someone During COVID Pandemic: My Initiative”
Amity University Jharkhand organized an Online Panel Discussion on "Helping Someone during COVID Pandemic: My Initiative" on 10th May 2021 from 3:00 PM-4:00 PM for Management and Law Students.
This online panel discussion was conducted with the aim of bringing awareness about the COVID-19 pandemic and to explore possible initiatives and thoughts of individual stakeholders of the society.
The panellists Dr. Raman Kumar Jha, Vice- Chancellor, and Dr. Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University Jharkhand graced the event.
The speakers of the session Dr. Amit Kumar Dutta Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Dr. Julie Vardhan Amity Business School, Ms. Jyoti Rangari from Amity Law School, explained the origin, causes and treatment of this disease that has infected the entire planet and left many in shambles. They explained that Covid-19 is basically infectious disease and many people have been suffering from this. This virus is airborne and mainly transmitted through the droplets.
The speakers said that vaccine may make the virus weak but it does not fully cure or prevent it. Immediate self-isolation is the only solution for the prevention of spread of this virus. The meeting was concluded by an interactive question and answer session and a vote of thanks.
