A National Webinar on Advances in Cancer Biology: Basic to Translational Research

Amity Institute of Biotechnology and Amity Institute of Integrative Sciences and Health organized National Webinar on Advances in Cancer Biology: Basic to Translational Research.

The main objective of the webinar was to explain about Cancer is life threatening disease and second leading cause of the death worldwide. In recent past extensive efforts geared toward in cancer research and clinical manifest, but still it is challenging and needed extensive research to gain therapeutic outcomes. At an early stage it is undetectable, asymptomatic disease and difficult to predict due to poor prognostic biomarkers. Cancer therapeutic has lowest success rate and high mortality worldwide and incidence of cancer is increasing the burden in the society day by day. Therefore, it is important to understand the biology of cancer and essential cellular mechanism, which can translate basic research to the clinic. To keep this in mind the aim of the webinar was conducted to impart the knowledge and learn the update of advances in Cancer Biology from Basic to Translational Research.  This interactive forum provides a common platform for exchange of new knowledge, ideas to conceptualize progressive research to battle cancer.
