Amity University Jharkhand organized the UGC recommended webinar on Implementation of National Education Policy, 2020 in Higher Education on 5th November, 2020.

The key note speaker was Prof. (Dr.) Prashant Kumar Shrivastava, Dean, Student Welfare, Hemchand Yadav University, Chhattisgarh, India. The guest speakers were Prof (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand and Prof (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University Jharkhand. The guest of the event was Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand.

Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand, welcomed the speakers and audience and said " This platform would provide you with a new dynamic and horizon and a new perspective on understanding what is a new education policy and I am hopeful that all audience would be benefitted."

Prof. (Dr.) Prashant Kumar Shrivastava said, "Amity University is known for its great work, its doing work different from others, with a different chain of thought ."

Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha enlightened the audience by saying, "The fastest and the quickest way to succeed is to make others succeed. If we follow this philosophy and make others succeed, that's the motto for the university and the teaching faculty to exist. National Education Policy 2020 also comes up with the vision that we have educational system that aims at transforming India into a equitable and vibrant economy along with high quality of education, so that it becomes global knowledge super power"

Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey addressed the audience by saying, " When we talk about the New Education Policy, there is no denial that the change is the only constant. And when live in a dynamic society, when the entire global scenario is undergoing whole lot of change, change in the industrial setup, change in bureaucratic setup, change in the mindset of the people, change in technology, so we definitely need change in education policy."

The students from all batches and programs attended the webinar with huge enthusiasm and interest of gaining knowledge. The webinar ended with the vote of thanks.
