WEBINAR ON "Environmental Justice and Law in India and the West"
The webinar dedicated to bring awareness among academicians, students, participants about the Environmental changes and laws in relation to the same in India as well in the Western part of the world.Various time periods both in the West and in India were discussed. The Environmental Justice theories were discussed as well. Live case examples were explained to clarify the concept.Webinar was organized on 29th July 2020 between 4PM – 5PM.. The welcome address was given Prof. (Dr.) Saroj Bohra, Director Amity Law School who explained to the young students about the importance of the webinar on Environmental Justice and how government has been able to deal with this situation. The speaker for the webinar was Mr. Shardul Tiwari from Michigan Technological University. The importance of Environmental Justice was discussed in detail. The program was moderated by Dr. Puneet Bafna, Associate Professor, Amity Law School.
