applications in Amity Institute of Applied Sciences for Teaching Assistant-Cum Demonstrator
Applications are invited from eligible
and motivated candidates for the position of Teaching
Assistant-cum-Demonstrator in the Department of Physics, Amity Institute of
Applied Sciences, Amity University Uttar Pradesh for supporting the teaching,
laboratory training, clinical exposure, and practical activities of students
enrolled in the M.Sc. (Medical Physics) programme.

Essential
Qualification
The candidate must possess either of
the following qualifications:
M.Sc. in Medical Physics with First
Division,
OR
M.Sc. in Physics with First Division
along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Radiological Physics (PGDRP) with First
Division.
Essential
Experience
The candidate must have relevant
professional experience as a Medical Physicist in a hospital/clinical setting.
Preference will be given to candidates
having hands-on experience in radiotherapy, radiation dosimetry, treatment
planning, radiation safety, quality assurance (QA), and operation of medical
radiation equipment.
Experience in teaching, laboratory
demonstration, student supervision, or training of Medical Physics students
will be an added advantage.
Key
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be expected
to:
Assist faculty members in teaching and
laboratory instruction for the M.Sc. Medical Physics programme.
Conduct and demonstrate practical
experiments in radiation physics, radiation dosimetry, radiation detection and
measurement, and medical physics.
Provide hands-on training to students
in relevant medical physics instrumentation and software.
Assist in demonstrations related to
radiotherapy physics, treatment planning, dosimetry, radiation protection, and
quality assurance.
Support students during laboratory
sessions, clinical demonstrations, projects, and practical training.
Assist in the preparation and
maintenance of laboratory equipment, experimental setups, practical manuals,
and teaching materials.
Facilitate the integration of
clinical/hospital experience into classroom and laboratory teaching.
Perform other academic and laboratory
responsibilities assigned by the Department.
Desirable Skills
Candidates with the following
competencies will be preferred:
Practical knowledge of radiotherapy and
radiation dosimetry.
Familiarity with radiation protection
regulations and safety practices.
Hands-on experience with radiation
detectors and dosimetry systems.
Knowledge of treatment planning systems
(TPS) and radiotherapy QA procedures.
Familiarity with LINAC, brachytherapy,
CT simulation, and other radiotherapy equipment.
Good communication, teaching,
laboratory management, and student-handling skills.
