Training Programme on “Auto Electrical & Electronics” for TATA Motors employees, commences at Amity

 Amity Technical Placement Centre & Amity Institute of Technology, have organized a Training Program for TATA Motors employees, from 14th Dec 2024 - 29th March 2025. A total of 25 participants registered for the Training Programme.

 

 

Inaugurating the Training Programme, Mr. Marshall Fernandes, Head of Skill & Development, Tata Motors, averred, "This is the second batch of Tata Motors, which is being conducted at Amity to enhance the skills and knowledge of the participants in line with the current EV development and innovation. Electric vehicles have played a huge role in the revolution in the motor industry, and innovations are happening in the areas of safety, comfortable travel, low cost etc. Many of you would have completed their engineering a few years ago, however, there are new technologies which have been developed in recent years, therefore, it is essential to attain the latest knowledge and learn about the innovations in the area of automobile engineering. The course will help in the growth of the professional careers of automobile engineers.”

 

Highlighting the significance of the Programme, Mr. Puneet Kumar, Head of Operations, Tata Motors, stated, "The previous batches who successfully completed the course have benefited immensely and this opportunity has been provided to you to redevelop your skills with the latest know-how.” Shri Kumar said that automotive technology is constantly evolving, therefore, the demand for such courses is increasing.

 

Motivating the participants, Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, said, "The relationship between Amity and Tata Group goes back a long way and we have been working together for many years. Both the institutes have taken initiatives in many areas and this certificate course is a step forward in strengthening our relationship. The foundation of automobile engineering is mechanical engineering, without which the construction of any vehicle is not possible. The resources of fuel from nature such as petrol and diesel are limited and also add pollution to the environment, therefore, the demand for e-vehicles has increased. Amity and Tata aim to contribute to nation building, and this training program will take the country forward towards the mission of a developed India.”

 

Mr. Sarfaraz, Head of Human Resources, Tata Motors, remarked, "This short-term course will set equip the participants with new skills and give new dimensions to your career.” He said that participants must take advantage of the information received by the experts and should not feel hesitant to ask questions.

 

The Programme concluded with Keynote Addresses by Mr Zafar Equbal, Founder and CEO, Plug N Ride Motors Pvt Ltd, Sonipat and Mr Vijay Kumar, Founder and CEO, R&D and Marketing, Tsuyo Mfg. Pvt Ltd, Greater Noida. Also present on the occasion were Mr. Anupam Singh, AGM, Amity Technical Placement Centre, Mr. Anjani Bhatnagar, Deputy Director Amity Technical Placement Centre.
