Dr Tapas Kumar Maji, Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, was invited as the keynote speaker of this ceremony. In his inaugural address, he spoke about gages and the use of recycling it in the environment. He also highlighted developing integrated photocatalytic systems through a post synthetic modification of metal organic frameworks (MOFs) for water and carbon dioxide reduction. 

 

As many as 14 scientific sessions, including biotechnology, environment, remote sensing, nanotechnology, toxicology, pollution and biomass, were scheduled in the conference. Dr Ashok K. Srivastava, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand, extended his heartfelt best wishes for the event.
