Amity Institute of Clinical Psychology (AICP) at Amity University Haryana, Gurgaon, organized a one-day workshop in collaboration with Citizen Hospital to commemorate World Schizophrenia Day on June 3, 2024. The session aimed to enhance understanding and awareness among trainees, providing them with valuable insights into the complexities of this mental health condition.

The workshop aimed to educate participants on the core features, symptoms, diagnostic criteria, and therapeutic approaches for managing schizophrenia, thereby enhancing their understanding and competence in dealing with this mental health condition.

The workshop successfully achieved its objective of raising awareness and sensitizing the trainees about schizophrenia. The speakers provided valuable insights into the concept of autism, the psychosocial issues related to schizophrenia, and its management. The event also laid the groundwork for future collaboration with invited guests to strengthen clinical training services for students.
