The students of BSc Nursing VIII semester of Amity College of Nursing conducted a Awareness Programme on ‘KMC’. The programme was conducted under the guidance and supervision of Ms Rashmi Ballyan, ACON, AUH.
The programme started at 11:00 am to target patients and relatives present in CHC Pataudi. The title and the theme of the event were introduced to the audience with the help of a chart and a speech. The introduction of topic and its importance were explained by the students with the help of informative role play and beautiful and comprehensive Audio- visual aids.
The following aspects were covered by the students during the programme; KMC, benefits to mother and baby, need of the KMC.
The participants expressed that the health education was very informative and highly beneficial to them. The session ended at 12 noon with a vote of thanks by the group.
