Amity Institute of Clinical Psychology (AICP), Amity University Haryana, Gurgaon  organized one day Mental Health promotional program  on 23^rd September 2019 at Citizen Hospital, Gurgaon.  Dr. Mehfooz Ahmed, the faculties of AICP and Dr. Braham Deep Sindhu, CMO, MCG, Gurugram along with M. Phil Clinical Psychology trainees, trainee out of Amity University and the community members participated in the program. Dr. Mehfooz Ahmed was the coordinator of the program. The programme sensitized the participants about the symptoms, causes, prevalence and the treatment of Alzheimer disease in different strata of society. The programme also highlighted the strategies for early identification and prevention of illness in the community. During the programme short movies were shown to make learning easy and interesting. In order to disseminate the information hand outs were distributed. In addition of that the issues of old age were also discussed. The programme emphasized the role of practical and service oriented aspects in community.
