Amity School of applied sciences organized guest lecture on Exploring Higher Educational Opportunities at Sun Yat Sen University, Taiwan on 2nd March 2021.

The main objective of the event was to provide information about Higher Educational Opportunities Abroad. Prof. Chuang, Associate Professor, NSYSU Taiwan, Micro and nano sensors, Chuang started his presentation with the introduction of the National Sun Yet Sen University, Taiwan, (NSYSU) and its different faculties and departments where the opportunities to pursue the higher education is available for the students from Amity school of applied sciences, Amity University Haryana India.

In the next part of the interaction, two current students  (Mr. Amit Kumar and Mr. Rakesh Kumar)  presented the work of the nanofibers as the materials for the temperature sensor with the excellent properties. They presented briefly the method of preparation characterisation of the nano materials and screen-printed electrochemical sensors for the various applications in the medical and biomedical applications.

The session was opened for discussions thereafter and many students took part in the discussions to clear the ambiguities regarding the application process and finances and the scientific content of the presentations.

Total 139 students and 7 faculties attended the session. Overall the session was very informative and interesting.
