Live Culinary Workshop with Chef Subir Malakar
Amity Skill Institute along with Amity School of Hospitality organized Live Culinary workshop with Chef Subir Malakar on 24th July 2020 on the topic” professionals working from home with newfound instead in cooking, baking and experimenting in the kitchen given the limitations in the availability of domestic help in these testing times due to the pandemic.
The workshop was aimed at the professionals working from home with newfound instead in cooking, baking and experimenting in the kitchen given the limitations in the availability of domestic help in these testing times due to the pandemic.
The Chef created a Goan speciality : Chicken Xacuti in the live session. He started by showing the audience an ingredient board for the main sauce for the preparation. He explained that this sauce which acts as the gravy of the dish is a versatile sauce and can be used with vegetables of your choice as well. Among others, he also named cottage cheese, tofu and soya chunks as the substitutes for chicken in the same recipe.
