A Seminar by ASAS on July 29, 2024
Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Forensic Sciences organised a research seminar series on ‘Strategy to Qualify JAM, GATE and NET Exams’, on July 29, 2024. Students gained a clearer understanding of the exams' objectives, including the potential to secure a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or a place in prestigious institutions like the IITs.
The aim of the seminar was to make students aware of the NET, GATE, and JAM exams and to focus on effective strategies for cracking these national-level exams within a limited time frame through smart work. The seminar sought to guide students on the importance of targeted study, emphasizing the need to focus on high-priority topics rather than attempting to cover the entire syllabus.
The seminar successfully informed students about the significance of the NET, GATE, and JAM exams, and provided valuable strategies for efficiently preparing for these competitive tests. The seminar highlighted the importance of understanding the exam patterns, focusing on key areas of the syllabus, and employing smart work techniques to maximize study effectiveness The event equipped students with practical insights to enhance their exam preparation and boost their chances of success.
