Amity Centre of atmospheric science and technology organised virtual webinar on World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Day Celebration on 23rd March 2021 on the theme “The Ocean, our Climate and Weather”,
The webinar was presided by Honorable Chancellor of AUH, Dr. Aseem K. Chauhan, who applauded the support of the MoES and IITM, Pune in fostering a new era of scientific research in air quality-health-climate interactions.
Dr. Madhavan Nair Rajeevan, Honorable Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India was the Chief Guest and delivered a thought-provoking Inaugural Address.
More than 200 participants (Government Personnel, Teachers, Research Scholars, Students, Stake Holders and Policy Makers) took active part in the deliberations and interacted with the expert speakers. The response and outcome of the Webinar were outstanding and have attracted many researchers and educationists. A Compendium, covering all the details of the speakers, highlights of the deliberations is being prepared.
